Cucur Ikan Bilis (Anchovies fritter)



Ingredients

1 cups flour
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until it reach consistency of thick liquid
  2. Heat oil in deep fryer or pot at low or medium temperature
  3. By using a tablespoon, scoop half full of liquid and put in oil. Repeat as much space your fryer can hold
  4. Let it cook until it started to harden and flip to the other side. Break apart the fritter from one to another
  5. Remove from oil when fritters are turning golden brown and strain excessive oil on paper towel
